Balancing your tires
The most obvious sign you may need your tires balanced, is if you start to feel a vibration while driving.
You should rotate your tires every 4,000 - 6,000 mile.
Types of Tires
It is important to have the proper seasonal tires on your car - snow tires for the winter should be off your car right now, replaced with all-season or summer tires.
You wouldn't wear winter boots in the summer. Think of your tires the same way. You need different types of traction for different weather conditions to keep you safe on the road.
Leaving snow tires on your car will cause them to wear out faster, especially in heat. An all season tire will provide better handling and traction in the rain, and offer a smoother ride. All-season tires are built to handle a wide range of conditions, but do not offer optimal performance in snow or ice like specialized tires will.
When you do remove your snow tires, you want to make sure you clean off the salt and store them in a dry place.
