The always reliably over-the-top Latvian carmaker is back with its China-only Black Snake Edition. And yes, buyers can opt for whale foreskin leather.

Our favorite Latvian armored carmaker is back (as if there is another Latvian company as nuts as these guys). But Dartz founder and owner Leonard F. Yankelovich, or simply "Leo", is a friend of us here at CarBuzz and we can confirm the man is not only downright hilarious but is totally serious about his whale penis leather interior-covered, jewel encrusted, gold plated and often armored vehicles. And to commemorate the "year of the dragon", Dartz has a new model based on the Mercedes-Benz GL63 AMG.

Specifically made for the constantly growing Chinese market, it's been dubbed the Black Snake and thiss latest piece of over-the-top excellence comes with all of the typical Dartz accessories we've come to expect (and cherish). For a price of at least $1,000,000, buyers will be treated to a radiator grille with golden flourishes, a hood covered with leaf gold formed like snakeskin and even an optional diamond hood ornament. And yes, whale penis leather will almost surely be available to those who want it. Its aluminum body is made from the same "kapsula" technology first used by Joseph Stalin for his armored car.

Power comes from an AMG-supplied 5.5-liter V8 bi-turbo with an output of 557 horsepower and 560 lb-ft of torque that's linked up with AMG ride control suspension and
