As we know, footballers should stay the hell away from expensive cars. Ronaldo has proven why before, by smashing his Ferrari 599 to bits in a tunnel near Manchester Airport.

It’s been reported that the iconic Maranello manufacturer will only allow you to buy a LaFerrari if you’ve previously owned five cars from the Prancing Horse. Ronaldo is known to have owned four – including the one he smashed up – so some sweet talking may be needed before the keys are handed over.

Ferrari will be making just 499 of these cars. Power comes from a mid-mounted 6.3-litre V12 producing 789bhp, with an F1-style KERS system adding an extra 161bhp boost. 60mph is dispatched in under three seconds, while the top speed should exceed 220mph.
