This Aventador Cardboard Kit Will Be On Every Petrolhead’s Christmas List

One man has created a half-scale Aventador police car out of nothing but cardboard, glue and creativity

Meet Seattle-based Taras Lesko, a man so creative, we think he’s got Christmas sewn up for petrolheads with a penchant for puzzles. His cardboard creations – of which there are many – are truly remarkable pieces

On Lesko’s Visual Spicer website, he tells us he’s ‘pleased’ with the outcome of this latest build, which cost Lesko $1000 in printing and materials.

The finished car – named Aventador A-E2 after the architectural paper used in the build – weighs just 11.3kg and measures 244cm long, 115cm wide and 63cm high.

The inspiration for the build? Interestingly, it was his wife who dared Lesko to make the car, as long as it fitted into the house. The complete kit (above) is for sale on Lesko’s website and takes approximately 100 hours to piece together. If 100 hours seems too much like hard work, here’s a time lapse video you simply can’t afford to miss.
