Drive like an Egyptian with the Dream Car 123

Ever walked out of an auto show distraught because the cutting-edge design language on display lacked a certain pharaonic flair? Were the extreme angles of the Lamborghini Reventón simply not extreme enough for your tastes?

Ever walked out of an auto show distraught because the cutting-edge design language on display lacked a certain pharaonic flair? Were the extreme angles of the Lamborghini Reventón simply not extreme enough for your tastes?

If so, you'll love the pyramid-shaped Dream Car 123.

Dream Car 123 is the brainchild of inventor George Zanis, who claims to be developing the vehicle of the future. Zanis says the electric car will eventually go 250 mph. That's a good deal faster than the 15 mph to 20 mph it can handle right now, but downhill speeds as high as 40 mph have been reported.

Far be it for us to mock Zanis or his dream—or his pyramidal Dream Car 123, for that matter. We've certainly never built a vehicle from scratch, and we're sure that Henry Ford's first Quadricycle was met with a fair bit of derision from skeptical neighbors.
