When it comes to fighting an oppressive dictator with superior firepower, the Syrian opposition fighters have been forced to improvise. This is what they've come up with.

The ongoing civil war in Syria has been going on since 2011. Going up against President Bashar al-Assad's fully-equipped army, opposition forces have been and continue to be forced to find alternative weapons to fight a regime that has killed more than 25,000 people. When you're outgunned by a dictator, you've got to think outside of the box to find solutions to fight such tyranny. So that's exactly what a group of rebel fighters have done in building this homemade tank.

Built on a car chassis and covered with (heavily oxidized) iron plating, it also takes advantage of some modern media technology. Operators inside the tank can monitor what's happening outside via a TV screen, and like something straight out of a video game, the turret is controlled by a PlayStation controller inside as well.
