The 2014 Nissan Zeod RC is a ground-breaking electric prototype that was designed to be a racecar.

The initial prototype showcar of the revolutionary electric racer showcased the dramatic evolution of the design featuring revamped styling, new cooling inlets and aerodynamic updates.

Moreover, the driver will be able to switch between electric power and a small lightweight turbocharged internal combustion engine. On the other hand, this car shares the same battery technology as the Nissan LEAF allowing it to recharge the battery via regenerative braking.

The Zeod RC can reach speeds in excess of 300km/h (185mph).
