وقع لبنان برمته في قبضة رياح مغبّرة هبّت على موسم قحط وزادت في قحطه وجفافه.. الغبار والرمل الطيار حجبا الرؤية حتى على مسافات قصيرة، والصورة تظهر تماماً الوضع الذي كانت عليه منطقة الرملة البيضاء بالأمس

 الوضع الذي كانت عليه منطقة الرملة البيضاء بالأمس
 وهذه الرياح المعتادة في هذا الوقت من العام، تعقبها افتراضياً بعد يوم او يومين أمطار تشطف وتغسل آثارها، لكن هذه المرة، لا يبدو المطر الكافي بكميات كبيرة في مرمى النظر بل هذا يبقى محجوباً وأسير سلاسل شحّ أحكمت اقفالها ورمت المفاتيح بعيداً، تاركة اللبنانيين عموماً والمزارعين خصوصاً امام كارثة لم يُسجَّل مثلها منذ سنوات
