With the new Batman vs Superman film on the horizon, there’s one thing as car guys we want to know the most: what will the Batmobile be like? We loved the tank-like ‘Tumbler’ in the recent Christopher Nolan Batman films, so the new one has its work cut out. And now, director Zack Snyder has given a glimpse of the new look Batmobile with these two images, as well as the first look at actor Ben Affleck suited-up in the redesigned Batman costume.

Judging by the shape, it looks to be taking the Batmobile back to the long and thin look it’s sported in many comic book and film appearances, with two gargantuan tyres and a giant diff at the rear. We can’t wait for the full reveal.

Shooting for the new film began last October, and it’s expected to be released in 2015. Henry Cavil will star opposite Affleck as Superman.
