Lamborghini presents its 2015 Asterion LPI 910-4 aka the technology demonstrator. The 2015 Lamborghini showcases its power of reducing CO2 emissions. Its name comes from LP for the “longitudinale posteriore” positioning of the internal combustion engine, the I means it is “ibrido” or hybrid in Italian, 910 refers to the car’s overall horsepower and 4 stands for the permanent all-wheel drive system.

The exterior of the Asterion LPI 910-4 is made entirely of carbon fiber. The front air intakes use an active cooling system with a double grid: One is metal and the other is titanium, both embedded into each other for a tri-dimensional effect.

As for the interior, it makes heavy use of carbon-fiber trim for weight savings and the colors are a striking tan and brown combination. The Lamborghini Asterion LPI 910-4 has three driving modes for the driver to select among: Zero for zero emissions/full electric, I for 'Ibrido' and T for 'Termico (thermal) power.

At the baseline rumbles a V10 engine producing an hp of 610 and adding the electric three electric motors the number would soar to 910 hp
